True Colors

True Colors®

Using True Colors® within an organization you will develop better communication skills so that conversations create desired outcomes. Build understanding within a team and recognize that each of us have unique gifts to contribute within the team.

True Colors offers a user-friendly temperament and personality typing inventory that helps people understand and recognize differences that can lead to miscommunication and conflict. The cost to an organization of poor communication is lack of trust, increased conflict, and loss of productivity.  True Colors is an approachable and easy to use communication tool rooted in a proven temperament inventory.  Teams come together in the spirit of increasing self-awareness, improved communication and collaboration.  Participants leave with a renewed sense of connection and trust, increased overall engagement and improved relationships.

True Colors uses colors — Orange, Gold, Green, and Blue — to differentiate four primary personality types and illuminate how these types best interact with each other.

I’ve been offering True Colors workshops since 2014 and the methodology has been certified by the  The Assessment Standards Institute (ASI) .

Better Relationships

Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for each other and increase empathy amongst the team members leading to less  miscommunication and conflict.

Improved Organizational Culture

By helping individuals better understand themselves and others, the evidence-based approach reveals the “why” behind communication issues within organizations.

True Colors with Experiential Learning

If you want to see your True Color in action then a full day session is right for your team.  The morning session will include exploring your own True Color temperament as the group engages in lively discussions and activities supporting the team in a deeper understanding of the different communication styles.  The afternoon session (or the next day) will be spent in an experiential learning activity designed to give the team an opportunity to practice new communication skills and strategies in an engaging and challenging environment.  This shared team experience will accelerate trust and understanding among the team and build a greater appreciation for each person’s skills and challenges.   Contact me to explore the experiential options.
